From Hannover Airport (HAJ)
- The S-Bahn (S5) runs from the airport terminal to Hannover Hauptbahnhof in about 17-18 minutes
- From the Hauptbahnhof, tram lines 8 or 18 continue to the fairground in roughly 20 minutes
- A taxi from HAJ direct to the Messe takes around 30 minutes outside peak traffic — the airport is north of the city, the fair to the south

Which station is closest to Hannover Messe?
It depends on your entrance. Hannover Messe/Laatzen station (S-Bahn S4, plus extra Deutsche Bahn trains during the fair) is about 400 m from entrance West 1, connected by the covered Skywalk. A reduced day ticket is available for pupils, students, trainees, seniors 65+ and other eligible groups with proof on site. Children up to 6 enter free, and under 15s must be accompanied by an adult.
