Full detailAbout Wembley Stadium
Wembley Stadium is England's 90,000-seat national stadium and the second-largest in Europe — home to England internationals, the FA Cup final, NFL London games, and some of the world's biggest concerts. The bowl is a three-tier design: the lower tier (blocks 101–144), the middle Club Wembley tier (blocks 201–252, all premium hospitality) and the upper tier (blocks 501–552). Blocks are numbered clockwise from the halfway line. The best general views are the lower-tier long sides at the halfway line; Club Wembley offers the best comfort and sightlines; the upper tier is the best value with panoramic views.
Rebuilt in 2007 on the site of the original 1923 stadium, Wembley seats 90,000 and is crowned by its signature 133-metre steel arch, visible across London. The bowl has a partially retractable roof that covers every seat but leaves the pitch open, and it hosts the FA Cup, England internationals, NFL London games, boxing and stadium concerts.
Wembley Stadium seating plan
General seating reference for Wembley Stadium, also known as the Wembley Stadium seating map, seating chart or seat plan. Check your selected event for its exact configuration.
Wembley Stadium seating capacity and layouts
The Wembley Stadium seating capacity is about 90,000 seats. The number in use changes with the layout, so here is how each set-up works.
Football (England, FA Cup, EFL finals)
Full bowl. Lower-tier long-side blocks at the halfway line (around 101–105 and 130s) give the most balanced view; the ends (behind the goals) are louder but more end-on. Away fans are allocated one end for finals and internationals.
NFL (London Series)
A regular NFL London host. Sideline seats (long sides) run parallel to the line of scrimmage — the premium NFL angle — while the ends sit behind the end zones. Club Wembley and lower-tier sidelines are best.
Concerts
End-stage setup (stage typically at one end). The pitch becomes a standing floor (front pitch standing is closest) plus seated blocks; the lower tier facing the stage and Club Wembley give the best seated views. Blocks behind and beside the stage are restricted-view or withheld.
Rugby league & boxing
Hosts the Rugby League Challenge Cup final and major boxing. Rugby uses the full pitch (long-side seats best); boxing is centre-ring, where lower-tier and pitch-side seats are closest.
Seating levels explained
Lower tier (Level 1)Blocks 101–144
The lowest, closest tier wrapping the pitch.
Pros: Closest to the action and the loudest atmosphere; long-side halfway blocks give a balanced, immersive view.
Cons: Low sightline makes the far side harder to read; behind-goal and corner blocks are more end-on; front rows can have pitch-side hoardings in view.
Club Wembley (middle tier)Blocks 201–252 (premium)
The entire middle tier, reserved for Club Wembley premium and hospitality members.
Pros: The best seats in the stadium — padded seats, wider concourses, dedicated lounges and catering, and a clean, central, unobstructed view across the whole pitch.
Cons: Premium / membership only; not sold as standard general admission.
Upper tier (Level 5)Blocks 501–552
The highest tier — the most economical general seating.
Pros: Cheapest seats with a complete, panoramic view of the whole pitch; central upper blocks read the game best.
Cons: Furthest from the action and high up; corner and top-row 500s are the most remote seats.
Wembley Stadium view from your seat
Level 1 lower tier, north and south sides
139 to 144 and 101 to 106 (north), 118 to 128 (south)The closest seated tier, side on to the pitch. The halfway line falls between blocks 144 and 101 on the north side, where the Royal Box sits, and around 122 and 123 on the south side. Wembley says none of its 90,000 seats has an obstructed view, but the roof does not cover the pitch and rain falling at an angle can reach some Level 1 seats.
Tip: Rows count up from 1 at the front, so pick a higher row for more height, and avoid the very front rows if heavy rain is forecast.
Level 1 lower tier, east and west ends
107 to 117 (east), 129 to 138 (west)End on seats behind the goals, close to the action at your end but looking down the length of the pitch to the far goal. The back rows of blocks 110 to 112 and 133 to 135 are licensed standing, with a waist high rail at each seat. The first 27 rows of those blocks stay seated.
Tip: Only buy the back rows of 110 to 112 or 133 to 135 if you are happy to stand. Wembley says licensed standing is not suitable for children under 12.
Level 2, Club Wembley
201 to 252The middle tier of 16,532 seats for Club Wembley members and hospitality guests, with a raised view across the whole pitch from above Level 1. It is a much shallower tier than Levels 1 and 5, so every seat is fairly close to the front.
Tip: Level 2 tickets give access to Levels 2, 3 and 4 but not Level 1 or Level 5, so arrange to meet friends with other tickets before you go in.
Levels 3 and 4, Club Wembley boxes
Boxes 3001 to 3118 (Level 3) and 4001 to 4043 (Level 4)Private boxes in a ring between the Club Wembley seats and the upper tier. Box numbers have four digits and the first digit is the level.
Tip: Wembley advises the Club Wembley main or North entrances for direct access to Level 3.
Level 5 upper tier, north and south sides
546 to 552 and 501 to 507 (north), 520 to 533 (south)The largest tier, with 39,165 seats and a high, panoramic view of the whole pitch. The halfway line falls between 552 and 501 on the north side and around 526 and 527 on the south side. Wembley warns that Level 5 is steep and may not suit anyone with vertigo.
Tip: The central blocks either side of each halfway line are the best value full pitch view. Level 5 tickets cannot move to other levels, so food, bars and toilets are all on the Level 5 concourse.
Level 5 upper tier, east and west ends
508 to 519 (east), 534 to 545 (west)The highest and furthest seats from the pitch, looking down its length from above each goal. The back rows of some end blocks are licensed standing, with the front 14 rows of those blocks seated.
Tip: Check your ticket for a licensed standing note before buying the back rows. For a concert with the stage at the west end, the east end blocks give a distant but straight on view.
How Wembley Stadium seat numbers work
Every Wembley ticket shows a block, row and seat, and the first digit of the block is the level: 101 to 144 is Level 1 (lower tier), 201 to 252 is Level 2 (Club Wembley), four digit 3xxx and 4xxx numbers are the boxes on Levels 3 and 4, and 501 to 552 is Level 5 (upper tier). Blocks run clockwise round the bowl from the north halfway line, so the first and last block of each tier (101 and 144, 201 and 252, 501 and 552) sit side by side at the centre of the north side. Rows are numbered from 1 at the front of each tier. Seat numbers do not restart at 1 in every block, so seat numbers in the hundreds are normal.
Reading a ticket: Block 502, Row 20: the 5 means Level 5, the upper tier, and you can only use the Level 5 concourse. Block 502 is the second upper block clockwise from the north halfway line, and Row 20 is the 20th row up from the front of that tier.
Wembley Stadium floor plan for concerts
For stadium concerts the stage goes at one end of the pitch (the west end in Wembley's own example layout) and the pitch is covered to become a standing floor, with seats on Levels 1, 2 and 5 around the other three sides. Wembley says each event is different, so always check the plan for your show.
The floor: The pitch is unreserved standing and open to the weather, because the roof does not cover the pitch. Wembley says the covered pitch holds up to 25,000 standing fans. Some tours sell a separate front standing section, and the minimum age for pitch standing is set per event. Standing fans follow the colour zone on their ticket to the right queuing ramp.
The stage: In Wembley's west end example, the seats on sale are blocks 142 to 144 and 101 to 125 on Level 1, 250 to 252 and 201 to 229 on Level 2, and 551 to 552 and 501 to 529 on Level 5. The east end faces the stage head on, the north and south sides are side on, and the blocks round and behind the west end are not sold.
Seats on every level are allocated, and Level 1 and Level 5 ticket holders cannot move to other levels during the event.

Seats to avoid & obstructed views
Blocks behind and beside a concert stage: Restricted or no view of the stage; usually sold as restricted-view or withheld.
Top rows and corners of the upper tier (500s): The highest and most remote seats from the action.
Behind-goal lower-tier blocks for football: End-on angle makes the far end of the pitch harder to follow than long-side seats.
Front-row lower-tier seats: Pitch-side hoardings, photographers and officials can intermittently block the lowest view.
Accessibility & companion seating
Wembley is one of the most accessible stadiums in the UK, with wheelchair and amenity/easy-access seating distributed across all three tiers and all sides, giving a real choice of height, price and view. Companion seats are provided next to wheelchair positions, with accessible toilets, Changing Places facilities, an audio-descriptive commentary service and assistance for guests with sensory and hidden disabilities. Accessible tickets are booked through the relevant event organiser or Wembley’s access service and sell out fast for finals and major concerts.
Where: Wheelchair and amenity positions are located on the lower (Level 1), middle (Club Wembley) and upper (Level 5) tiers around the full bowl.
Food & drink at Wembley Stadium
Wembley's concourses mix draught bars pouring beer alongside handcrafted pies with bottle bars for bottled beers and soft drinks, plus kiosks serving Bavarian-style hot dogs, fish and chips, burgers and pizzas, with vegan versions of the staples. On Level 2 the offer steps up with TapHouse Social, Camden Town Brewery bars and two M&S Food stores.
Wembley is an entirely cashless stadium and outside food and drink cannot be brought in, though small amounts are permitted for medical or intolerance reasons; gluten-free meals are available via the information booths.
