Where to sit at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
The best seats at Mercedes-Benz Stadium are 100 Level centre sidelines around the 50-yard line (sections 107-113 and 125-131, midfield at 110C and 128C) for the view. For value, choose 300 Level sideline sections (long-side upper deck, a few rows back from the front rail). For atmosphere, head to Supporters' sections behind the goals (101-103 and 135-136). Avoid Front rows of many 300 Level sections. Mercedes-Benz Stadium seats 71,000, home of Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC.

Full detailAbout Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Mercedes-Benz Stadium, opened in 2017 in downtown Atlanta, is a multi-purpose venue seating around 71,000 for NFL games (home of the Atlanta Falcons) and expandable to roughly 75,000 for major events. Seating is arranged across three main tiers: the 100 Level (lower bowl), the 200 Level (mezzanine, ringed with suites and club lounges) and the 300 Level (upper deck), all wrapped by the distinctive 360-degree "Halo Board" video ring beneath the retractable roof. The best overall views are along the lower-bowl sidelines around the 50-yard line (sections 107-113 on one side and 125-131 on the other, including club sections 108C-112C and 126C-130C), while the best value sits high on the 300 Level sidelines, which offer clean elevated views and the lowest prices. For Atlanta United matches the lower bowl can be curtained down to around 42,500, with the loudest atmosphere behind the goal in the supporters' sections (101-103 and 135-136). Premium options include the field-level Mercedes-Benz Club and Delta Sky360 Club in the lower bowl, the Harrah's Cherokee Club on the 200 Level, and numerous all-inclusive lounges and suites.
Opened in 2017, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is defined by its unique retractable roof of eight triangular 'petals' that open and close like a camera aperture. Inside, a 360-degree 'halo' video board rings the top of the bowl, and the venue is known for its fan-friendly concession pricing while hosting Falcons NFL and Atlanta United MLS matches.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium seating capacity and layouts
The Mercedes-Benz Stadium seating capacity is about 71,000 seats. The number in use changes with the layout, so here is how each set-up works.
NFL (Atlanta Falcons)
American football configuration with the full bowl open, capacity approximately 71,000 (expandable to around 75,000 for marquee events such as the Super Bowl). Sidelines run along the 100 and 200 Level long sides; end zones sit behind each goal line.
MLS (Atlanta United)
Soccer-specific setup with retractable lower-bowl seats moved to widen the pitch and mechanised curtains that can reduce capacity to around 42,500 for many matches, expanding toward 71,000-plus for big fixtures. The supporters' sections behind the goals (101-103 and 135-136) drive the atmosphere.
Concerts
End-stage or in-the-round configurations with a floor (general admission pit or seated floor) plus the 100, 200 and 300 Level bowl. Layouts vary by show, with some sections removed, restricted or added depending on stage position; sections directly behind or beside the stage may be unsold or have obstructed views.
FIFA World Cup 2026
Scheduled to host eight matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, using a wide soccer pitch with the bowl largely fully open. Per FIFA naming rules the venue is referred to as 'Atlanta Stadium' during the tournament.
Seating levels explained
100 Level (Lower Bowl)101-136 (incl. club sections 108C-112C, 126C-130C, 110C, 128C)
The closest tier to the field, wrapping the full bowl with sideline, corner and end-zone sections. Sidelines around the halfway/50-yard line offer the premium sightlines; centre-sideline blocks (e.g. 108C-112C and 126C-130C) form the climate-controlled Mercedes-Benz Club and Delta Sky360 Club.
Pros: Closest to the action; best atmosphere and detail; club-section access to premium lounges and bars.
Cons: Most expensive seats in the building; lower rows in corners and end zones can have flatter, more side-on views.
200 Level (Mezzanine)Approximately 201-247, plus club sections 210C-212C and 236C-238C and suites
The middle tier, dominated by suites and premium clubs including the Harrah's Cherokee Club. Standard 200 Level sections sit relatively low above the field with shallow seating (around a dozen rows per section).
Pros: Elevated but still close; excellent for the full-field picture; many sections tie into premium and all-inclusive clubs.
Cons: Largely premium/suite inventory, so general seated availability is limited; pricing is high relative to the upper deck.
300 Level (Upper Deck)301-350
The highest seated tier and home to the cheapest tickets. Separated from the field by the lower rows and two levels of suites, so even front rows sit well back, but sideline sections give clean, elevated 'birds-eye' views and the best angle on the 360-degree Halo Board.
Pros: Lowest prices; unobstructed elevated sightlines from the sidelines; best view of the Halo Board.
Cons: Furthest from the field (front rows roughly 70 rows back equivalent); a railing can obstruct the very front rows of many sections; end-zone upper seats feel distant.
Field & Floor (event-dependent)
For concerts the playing surface is converted to a floor with a GA pit and/or seated floor sections directly facing the stage. Atlanta United also offers limited field-adjacent premium terraces.
Pros: Closest possible to a concert stage; high-energy GA pit; standing-room and terrace options available.
Cons: Flat sightlines toward the rear of a seated floor; GA pit requires queuing and standing; configuration and availability change show to show.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium view from your seat
100 Level south sideline
107 to 113, including club sections 108C to 112CThe closest sideline view in the building, with 110C at midfield. With the retractable roof closed the bowl is fully enclosed, so sun and rain are not a factor.
Tip: For the 50 yard line on this side, look at 110C first, then 109C or 111C.
100 Level north sideline
125 to 131, including club sections 126C to 130CThe mirror of the south sideline, with 128C at midfield. Section 125 runs from row 1 up past row 40, so the back rows sit well above the field.
Tip: For midfield on this side, look at 128C, then 127C or 129C.
100 Level corners
104 to 106, 114 to 116, 122 to 124, 132 to 134You watch the field at a diagonal, which works well for seeing plays develop, though play in the far corner looks distant. Section 134 is the Dirty Birds Nest, a general admission fan zone at Falcons games.
Tip: Pick 134 only if you plan to stand and chant with the loudest Falcons fans.
100 Level end zones
West end 117 to 121, east end 101 to 103 and 135 to 136These seats look straight down the length of the field. Plays at your end are close and the far end feels distant. The east end holds the Atlanta United supporters' sections (101 to 103 and 135 to 136).
Tip: Sections 101, 136 and rows 1 to 39 of 102 are general admission at Atlanta United matches, so the seat number on your ticket is not reserved.
200 Level
201 to 247, sideline clubs 209 to 213 and 235 to 239, west end 221 to 227Short sections of about 12 rows, so every seat sits fairly low and close for a second tier. The west end holds the AT&T Perch and Lofts. The east end has no 200 Level seats, only the 200 Skybridge.
Tip: With only about 12 rows, any 200 Level seat is an easy walk to the concourse.
300 Level sidelines
South about 307 to 316, north about 336 to 344A high, full field view and the best angle on the 360 degree Halo Board under the roof. Two suite levels sit below, so the front row is a long way above the field, and a railing sits in front of the first few rows in many sections.
Tip: Rows 4 to 10 keep you clear of the front railing. At midfield, choose 312 or 340.
300 Level corners and west end
301 to 306, 317 to 335, 345 to 350 (west end 321 to 327)The furthest seats from the field. The west end sections 321 to 327 hang over the 200 Level and have few rows. The east end has no 300 Level seats, only the 300 Skybridge and the Window to the City facing downtown.
Tip: For an end stage concert at the east end, 321 to 327 face the stage head on and usually cost less than the sidelines.
How Mercedes-Benz Stadium seat numbers work
The official concourse maps show 100 Level sections 101 to 136, 200 Level sections 201 to 247 and 300 Level sections 301 to 350. Numbers run clockwise from the east end: along the south sideline, round the west end and back along the north sideline. Premium club sections carry a C, for example 110C and 128C. Rows usually start at row 1 at the front: most 200 Level sections have about 12 rows, 300 Level sidelines about 34, and 100 Level sections run past row 40. Some lower end zone sections start at a higher row, and some have a lettered back row.
Reading a ticket: Section 312, Row 6: 300 Level, south sideline at midfield. Row 6 is six rows up from the front rail, clear of the front row railing.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium floor plan for concerts
Concert layouts vary by tour, so always check the seating map for your show. The field becomes the floor, and on most end stage layouts the stage sits at the east end (the end with the Skybridges and no upper seats), with the rest of the bowl facing it.
The floor: Depending on the show, the field is sold as reserved floor sections, a general admission standing area, or both. Standing room only tickets are also sold at some shows.
The stage: Usually at the east end, in front of sections 101 to 103 and 135 to 136.
With an east end stage, 101 to 103 and 135 to 136 are behind or beside it, and the west end faces it head on (for example 119 and 321 to 327). Sideline sections see the stage side on, and the angle gets sharper the closer you sit to the stage end.

Seats to avoid & obstructed views
Front rows of many 300 Level sections: A railing along the front of the upper deck can obstruct the view; sitting a couple of rows back is recommended.
300 Level end-zone / behind-the-goal upper sections: Furthest seats from the action, with the front rows already equivalent to roughly 70 rows back; distant and flat for following play.
Lower-bowl corner and end-zone sections (e.g. 101-107, 113-125, 131-136 corners and ends): More side-on or end-on angles than the centre sidelines, and lower rows can feel flat relative to the field.
Floor/sections directly behind or beside a concert stage: For end-stage concert layouts these can be obstructed, side-on or unsold entirely depending on the production.
Rear rows of a seated concert floor: Flat sightlines on a level floor mean limited views of the stage when standing crowds are in front.
Accessibility & companion seating
Mercedes-Benz Stadium provides accessible (wheelchair) seating with companion seats across all levels and price points, with accessible parking, entrances, lifts, ramps and accessible restrooms throughout the building. Wheelchair-accessible and companion seating, as well as services such as assistive listening and accessible drop-off, can be arranged through the venue's guest services; accessible tickets are best booked directly via the stadium or the official ticketing channel to ensure the correct seat type. Guests needing specific accommodations are advised to contact the stadium's guest services team in advance.
Where: Accessible and companion seating is distributed across the 100, 200 and 300 Levels rather than confined to a single area, allowing wheelchair users to choose a price tier; exact accessible platform locations within each section should be confirmed with the venue when booking.
Food & drink at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is best known for its fan-first pricing: whole-dollar menu prices on classics that the stadium does not raise for bigger events. Core stands such as ATL Fan Fare and ATL Grill cover hot dogs, nachos, burgers and draught beer, with vegetarian and vegan options marked on the official menus.
Payment is card and mobile only at all stands, bars and vendors, with cash-to-card kiosks at sections 101 and 122. Outside food and drink are prohibited apart from one factory-sealed 500 ml water bottle per person; there is a two-drink alcohol limit per transaction, and sales generally end after the third quarter at football or the 75th minute at soccer.

Frequently asked questions
What are the best seats at Mercedes-Benz Stadium?
For the best overall view, choose 100 Level centre-sideline seats around the 50-yard line (sections 107-113 and 125-131, with 110C and 128C at midfield). These give the closest, most head-on view of play. If you want premium comfort, the field-level Mercedes-Benz Club and Delta Sky360 Club sideline sections add lounge access.
What are the cheapest seats at Mercedes-Benz Stadium?
The cheapest tickets are in the 300 Level (upper deck). For the best value, pick a 300 Level sideline section and sit a couple of rows back from the front rail to avoid the railing obstruction while keeping a clean, elevated view of the field and the Halo Board.
Where do the home supporters and away fans sit for Atlanta United?
Atlanta United's supporters' sections are behind the goals in sections 101-103 and 135-136, with general admission in 101, 136 and rows 1-39 of 102. This is the loudest, standing area. Visiting supporters and fans wanting a calmer seated experience are directed to other areas of the bowl; the exact away allocation varies by match, so check the official listing.
Is Mercedes-Benz Stadium accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes. The stadium offers wheelchair-accessible and companion seating across all three levels and price ranges, plus accessible parking, entrances, lifts, ramps and restrooms. Accessible tickets are best booked directly through the venue or official ticketing so the correct seat type is allocated.
Does Mercedes-Benz Stadium have a roof, and is the seating covered?

How many people does Mercedes-Benz Stadium hold?
