About the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

The season finale — and in 2027, Abu Dhabi hosts its first-ever Sprint weekend. Sunset racing at Yas Marina, after-race concerts on the island, theme-park access bundled into your ticket, and a title fight that has come down to the wire here more than once.

The 5.281 km Yas Marina Circuit winds around the marina and under the W Abu Dhabi hotel’s colour-changing canopy. The 2021 reprofile opened up the lap: the long back straight into the Turn 6 hairpin is now the prime overtaking spot, and the fast, flowing final sector rewards commitment. Twilight racing means the race starts in golden hour and finishes under lights — the most photogenic finish in F1.

Transport

Yas Island is 25 minutes from central Abu Dhabi and about an hour from Dubai. On race weekend, free shuttle buses run from city pickup points, and taxis and rideshare are plentiful.
