Where to sit at Kia Forum
The best seats at Kia Forum are Floor A to E for the view. Avoid Lower Level 113 to 124 at end stage shows. Kia Forum seats 17,500.
About Kia Forum
The Kia Forum is Inglewood's historic round arena and one of Los Angeles' best known concert venues, with a capacity of about 17,500. The Kia Forum seat chart is simpler than most arenas: there are just two seating levels, the Lower Level (sections 101 to 136) and the Upper Level (sections 201 to 236), with a ring of boxes at the front of the upper level and no suites level in between. For the usual end stage concert, the stage sits in front of lower sections 113 to 124, the floor is split into up to 13 sections (A to E at the front, F to K in the middle and 1 to 3 at the back), and sections 101, 102, 135 and 136 face the stage head on. Because the bowl is round and there is no middle tier, the front rows of the 200 Level give a clear, raised Kia Forum seating view, while the top of the upper level is a climb of up to about 30 rows.
Designed by Charles Luckman to recall a Roman colosseum and opened on 30 December 1967, the Forum is a round arena whose cable-suspended roof, about 407 feet across, needs no extensive internal support pillars. Once home to the Lakers and Kings, it was renovated as a dedicated concert venue and reopened in January 2014, took the Kia Forum name in 2022, and was named Pollstar's Arena of the Decade for the 2010s.

Kia Forum seating capacity and layouts
The Kia Forum seating capacity is about 17,500 seats. The number in use changes with the layout, so here is how each set-up works.
End stage concerts
The most common layout. The stage sits in front of Lower Level sections 113 to 124, the floor is divided into up to 13 sections, and upper sections behind the stage (around 212 to 224) are usually closed. Some shows sell the floor as general admission standing.
Other concert layouts
Some shows use a different set-up, such as a theatre style layout, which changes which sections are sold. Always check the seat map for your show, as sections can be removed or changed.
Other events
Award shows and other special events also use the arena, with layouts set per event.
Seating levels explained
FloorA-K, 1-3
For end stage shows the floor is usually split into front sections A to E, middle sections F to K and rear sections 1 to 3. The floor is flat, but the rear sections are usually on shallow risers.
Pros: Closest to the stage.
Cons: A flat floor means taller people in front can block your view; some shows are standing general admission.
Lower Level101-136
The lower ring round the floor. With an end stage in front of 113 to 124, the side sections 103 to 112 and 125 to 134 see the stage side on and 101, 102, 135 and 136 face it.
Pros: Close, raised views; the sections facing the stage give a straight view of the whole production.
Cons: Sections near the stage end see it at a sharp angle, and some are closed.
Upper Level201-236
The upper ring, larger than the lower sections, reaching up to about 30 rows. There is no seating between the 100 and 200 Levels, so the front rows sit at a comfortable height.
Pros: A full view of the stage and lighting; front rows are a good height.
Cons: The top rows are a long climb and the furthest from the stage.
BoxesB204-B236
Seating charts show a ring of boxes at the front of the 200 Level, from B204 round to B236. The venue's premium box product is the City National Bank Legends Box, with couch seating and a dedicated server.
Pros: Private seating at the front of the upper level.
Cons: Sold as a group package rather than single seats.
Kia Forum view from your seat
Front floor
Floor A to EThe closest view of the stage, on a flat floor.
Tip: If the floor is general admission, arrive early for a spot near the front.
Middle and rear floor
Floor F to K, Floor 1 to 3Further back on the floor, where heads in front can block your view. The rear sections 1 to 3 are usually on shallow risers, which helps a little.
Tip: For a clear view over the crowd, a raised seat in the bowl can beat the back of the floor.
Lower Level facing the stage
101, 102, 135, 136Straight across the floor to an end stage, raised above the crowd.
Tip: These are the sections to pick for a head on view with an end stage.
Lower Level sides
103 to 112 and 125 to 134Side on views of the stage from close range. The sections nearer the stage end (around 110 to 112 and 125 to 127) are closer but at a sharper angle.
Tip: Sections towards the middle of each side balance distance and angle.
Lower Level beside and behind the stage
113 to 124With an end stage these sections are beside or behind it, so they are usually closed or sold with a limited view.
Tip: Check whether your ticket says limited or side view before you buy here.
Upper Level facing the stage
201, 202, 234 to 236A high, straight view of the whole stage and light show from the far end of the bowl.
Tip: The front rows (about 1 to 8) give a clear view at a comfortable height.
Upper Level sides
203 to 211 and 225 to 233A raised side view. Because there is no middle tier, even these sections feel closer than the upper level of a three tier arena.
Tip: The top rows are up to about 30 rows up, so allow time for the climb.
How Kia Forum seat numbers work
There are two levels: the Lower Level, sections 101 to 136, and the Upper Level, sections 201 to 236, numbered in the same direction round the circular bowl, so 101 and 201 sit together, as do 136 and 236. Boxes at the front of the upper level are marked with a B, such as B204. For end stage shows the floor uses letters A to K and numbers 1 to 3, with row 1 at the front of each floor section and seat 1 on your left as you face the stage. In the upper side sections, seat 1 is on your left as you look down towards the floor.
Reading a ticket: Section 135, Row 5: Lower Level, one of the four sections facing an end stage in front of 113 to 124, five rows up from the front.
Kia Forum floor plan for concerts
Most concerts use an end stage, but layouts vary by show, so always check the Kia Forum seat map for your event.
