Full detailAbout Comerica Park
Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers since 2000, holds 40,988 for baseball (MLB.com, as of 2024) and will be renamed Fifth Third Park from the 2027 season. The seating map of Comerica Park has three main areas: the Lower Level (sections 101 to 151), a lower upper deck down the first base and right field side (sections 210 to 219), and the main Upper Level (sections 321 to 345) from first base round behind home plate to left field. There is no upper deck in the outfield, which keeps the downtown skyline in view. The Tigers dugout is on the third base side and the visitors dugout on the first base side, with both bullpens in left field. Premium options run from the new Home Plate Club and On-Deck Circle seats at field level to the Tiger Den, the Champions Club and the MotorCity Casino Hotel Tiger Club.
Opened on 11 April 2000, Comerica Park was designed by HOK Sport (now Populous) with SHG and Rockwell Group, and cost about $300 million. With no upper deck seating in the outfield, the ballpark was aligned to show off the downtown Detroit skyline, and it is known for its tiger statues, the centre field fountain, a baseball themed Ferris wheel and a carousel. From the 2027 season it will be renamed Fifth Third Park after Fifth Third Bank's takeover of Comerica.
Comerica Park seating chart

Comerica Park seating capacity and layouts
The Comerica Park seating capacity is about 40,988 seats. The number in use changes with the layout, so here is how each set-up works.
Baseball (Detroit Tigers)
The main configuration, 40,988 seats. Protective netting runs from behind home plate to section 116 on the first base line and section 142 on the third base line. The Tigers dugout is on the third base side and the visitors dugout on the first base side; the Tigers and visitors bullpens are side by side in left field (around sections 147 to 151).
Concerts
Comerica Park hosts summer stadium concerts promoted by 313 Presents, with seating or standing on the field as well as in the bowl. Shows are rain or shine, gates usually open 60 minutes before the show, and each concert has its own seating chart.
Other events
The ballpark is also used for private events and other large gatherings, with areas such as the Champions Club available for hire on non game days.
Seating levels explained
Lower Level infield (behind home plate and the dugouts)120-135 (home plate 125-130)
The heart of the Lower Level, from the visitors dugout on the first base side (around 120 to 122) round behind home plate to the Tigers dugout on the third base side (around 131 to 134). The lowest rows are On-Deck Circle seats, the upper rows are the Tiger Den, and the Home Plate Club sits directly behind the plate.
Pros: The closest, most complete view of the game, and the premium clubs and lounges are here.
Cons: The most expensive seats in the park, and the netting sits in front of every seat between sections 116 and 142.
Lower Level baselines111-119 (first base) and 136-142 (third base)
Seats running down the foul lines towards the outfield corners. The netting ends at section 116 on the first base side and 142 on the third base side.
Pros: Good value for a close, low view, and a chance of foul balls beyond the netting.
Cons: The angle turns away from home plate the further down the line you go, and seats past the netting are exposed to balls and bats.
Lower Level outfield101-110 (right field) and 143-151 (left field)
Outfield seats in right field and left field. The Tigers and visitors bullpens are in left field around sections 147 to 151, and there is no upper deck above the outfield.
Pros: Usually the cheapest Lower Level tickets, close to the bullpens, with the skyline and scoreboard in view.
Cons: Furthest from home plate, and judging pitches from the outfield is hard.
200 Level (first base and right field)210-219
A second tier running from just past first base to the right field foul line. The ballpark says this 4,000 seat area has no suite level below it, so the deck sits about 15 feet lower and closer to the field than the main upper deck. The MotorCity Casino Hotel Tiger Club is on this side, reached by the elevators behind section 109.
Pros: Raised view that is closer to the field than the 300 Level; party decks and Comerica Landing are nearby.
Cons: The view looks back across the diamond from the right field side rather than from behind home plate.
300 Level (Upper Level)321-345 (behind home plate 325-331)
The main upper deck, from first base (321 to 324) round behind home plate (325 to 331) and down the third base line (332 to 341) to left field (342 to 345). The first five rows of this upper bowl are Club Seats, and the Blue Moon Bases Loaded Bar sits behind section 330.
Pros: The cheapest seats behind home plate and the best views of the downtown skyline over the outfield.
Cons: High above the field, with two suite levels below pushing the deck back.
Suites, Champions Club and party areasTwo suite levels; Right Field Balcony RF1-RF6, Party Decks 1-3, Party Plazas A-C
Two levels of suites, including party suites for single game hire, and the Jim Beam Champions Club, which combines nine suites into a private club on the 100 suite level on the third base side. Group areas include the Right Field Balcony next to Comerica Landing, three party decks and three party plazas.
Pros: Private space, food and drink, and good sightlines for groups.
Cons: Mostly sold as season or group packages rather than single seats.
Comerica Park view from your seat
Behind home plate, Lower Level
125 to 130The classic broadcast angle, looking straight out to centre field with the skyline beyond. Seats are behind the netting, and the stadium keeps a limited number of seats here for guests with visual impairments.
Tip: The Home Plate Club's 350 climate controlled seats are directly behind the plate if you want the premium version of this view.
Tigers dugout side, Lower Level
131 to 139Low seats along the third base side behind and beyond the Tigers dugout, looking across the diamond towards first base and right field.
Tip: Players often sign autographs near the dugout during and after batting practice.
Visitors dugout side, Lower Level
111 to 124The first base side, behind and beyond the visitors dugout, looking across to third base and the left field bullpens. The Big Cat Court food area and carousel are on the concourse behind section 119.
Tip: Netting ends at 116, so seats past it on this line are unprotected from foul balls.
Left field and the bullpens
140 to 151Outfield seats looking in towards home plate, with both bullpens in front of the left field seats and the Ferris wheel and Brushfire Grill on the third base concourse.
Tip: Pick 147 to 151 to watch pitchers warm up in the bullpens.
Right field, Lower Level
101 to 110Outfield seats in right field and right centre, with the centre field fountain nearby and the 200 Level and Comerica Landing above.
Tip: Usually among the cheapest Lower Level seats; on the official map Rocket Entry, at Adams and Witherell, is the closest gate.
200 Level
210 to 219A raised view from the first base and right field side. With no suites below, this deck is about 15 feet lower and closer to the field than the 300 Level.
Tip: Guest Services and a sensory room are around section 210.
300 Level behind home plate
325 to 331High, straight on views over the whole diamond and out to the downtown skyline. The first five rows of the upper bowl are Club Seats.
Tip: The Blue Moon Bases Loaded Bar behind section 330 has lounge seating and its own restrooms.
300 Level baselines and left field
321 to 324 and 332 to 345Upper deck seats down the lines, angled towards the infield. The far left field end (342 to 345) is the furthest from home plate.
Tip: The Brush Street Ramp near 140 and the elevators at 130 both reach the 300 Level; the escalator at 121 only goes up.
How Comerica Park seat numbers work
On the Comerica Park seating map with seat numbers, Lower Level sections run from 101 in right centre field, down the first base line (111 to 124), behind home plate (125 to 130), down the third base line (131 to 142) and out to left centre (151). The 200 Level (210 to 219) covers the first base and right field side, and the 300 Level (321 to 345) runs from first base round behind home plate to left field. Some premium sections near home plate carry a letter suffix, for example 127A and 129B on the official map. Premium rows (On-Deck Circle at the front, Tiger Den at the back, Club Seats in the first five upper rows) are labelled separately from standard rows, so always check the row on your ticket against the section map. Seat numbers run along each row within the section.
Reading a ticket: Section 330: 300 Level directly behind home plate, beside the Blue Moon Bases Loaded Bar and the Guest Services office near 330.
Comerica Park floor plan for concerts
Comerica Park concerts are promoted by 313 Presents and every show has its own Comerica Park map, so check the seating chart for your concert. The field is used for tickets as well as the Lower, 200 and 300 Levels.
The floor: Depending on the show the field is sold as reserved seated sections or as general admission standing.
Concerts are rain or shine, gates usually open 60 minutes before show time, and the bag policy only allows small bags of 4 x 6 x 1.5 inches or less.

Seats to avoid & obstructed views
300 Level far left field, 342 to 345: The furthest seats from home plate, high up and angled across the field.
Lower Level baseline seats beyond the netting (past 116 on the first base side and 142 on the third base side): Unprotected from foul balls and broken bats, and the view turns away from home plate.
Deep outfield Lower Level sections (around 101 to 104 and 148 to 151): A long way from home plate, so balls and strikes are hard to judge.
Sections beside or behind a concert stage: Side on or restricted views of the stage and screens; which sections are affected depends on the show.
Accessibility & companion seating
Comerica Park meets ADA requirements and sells seating for guests with mobility impairments and their companions in various price categories, all with unobstructed views of the field. Accessible seats can be bought at any box office window before game day or at the customer service window on the day, where standard tickets can also be exchanged subject to availability. Lower Level seating is reached by ramps at sections 119 and 141; the 200 Level by the Montcalm Ramp near section 125 or the elevators in the Tiger Club lobby at section 109; and the 300 Level by the Brush Street Ramp near section 140, the elevators at section 130 or the up only escalator at section 121. The closest accessible parking is at the 61 E. Elizabeth lot and the McLaren Garage, and the preferred drop off is at Adams Avenue and Witherell Street by Rocket Entry. The main Guest Services office is at section 130, and a sensory room is around section 210.
Where: Wheelchair accessible sections are located throughout all areas of the ballpark. A limited number of seats behind home plate in sections 125 to 130, protected by the screen, are held for guests with visual impairments.

Comerica Park holds 40,988 for baseball, according to MLB.com (as of 2024). There are roughly 23,000 seats in the lower bowl, 2,000 across the two suite levels and around 11,000 in the main upper deck, plus a 4,000 seat second tier from first base to the right field line.
Where can I find a seating map of Comerica Park?
The Tigers publish the official Comerica Park seat map and a 3D seat viewer on mlb.com/tigers, with separate Lower Level and Upper Level directories. Lower Level sections run 101 to 151, the 200 Level 210 to 219 and the 300 Level 321 to 345.

Premium rows such as On-Deck Circle, Tiger Den and the first five upper deck Club Seat rows are labelled separately, so check your row against the map. Seat numbers run along each row.
What are the best seats at Comerica Park?
For baseball, Lower Level sections 125 to 130 behind home plate give the best view, with sections 131 to 135 beside the Tigers dugout a favourite with home fans. For value, the 300 Level behind home plate (325 to 331) keeps the same angle and the skyline for much less.

The Tigers recommend reserving a space in advance through SpotHero. The People Mover (Grand Circus Park and Broadway stations) and the QLine are good alternatives.
Is Comerica Park being renamed?
Yes. After Fifth Third Bank bought Comerica, the Tigers announced on 21 September 2026 that the ballpark will be called Fifth Third Park from the 2027 season. The Comerica Park name stays through the end of the 2026 season, and the seating layout is not affected.
Is Comerica Park accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes. Wheelchair and companion seating is spread across all areas of the ballpark, with ramps at sections 119 and 141, elevators behind sections 109 and 130, and accessible parking closest at the 61 E.
