M&S Bank Arena Liverpool is a 10,600-capacity (11,000 with floor standing) arena on the King's Dock waterfront, best known for hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Its flexible floor and two tiers let it run from an intimate 2,000-seat 'short hall' to full-house concerts, twenty-two hospitality boxes ring the bowl, and its ACC Liverpool campus setting puts bars, restaurants and hotels within a short walk.
M&S Bank Arena Liverpool opened on 12 January 2008 as the Echo Arena, a £164 million development by architects WilkinsonEyre with Sport Concepts, built on King's Dock and owned by Liverpool City Council. Connected to the ACC Liverpool conference centre by a central galleria, the campus was the first in Europe to combine an arena and convention centre under one roof. The venue hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023 and was renamed the M&S Bank Arena in 2019.
