Full detailThe fastest street circuit in the world, wrapped around a medieval old town on the Caspian Sea. Baku has never produced a boring race — the 2.2 km full-throttle main straight and the castle-section squeeze guarantee drama — and it remains one of the best-value city races to attend.
The 6.003 km Baku City Circuit is a track of two halves: the tight, technical old-town section where cars squeeze past the 12th-century city walls at Turn 8 — the narrowest corner in F1 — and the absurdly long main straight along the Caspian promenade, where cars run flat-out for over two kilometres and slipstreaming battles rage into Turn 1. Safety cars are a Baku tradition; expect the unexpected.

Baku is a very long city circuit. Select the main-straight speed, a heavy-braking zone or the Old City setting, then choose a hotel and metro exit that reach that particular gate.
The main straight, grid and pit buildings by the Caspian waterfront.
Consider: A premium seat that sees a short section of a six-kilometre lap.
The turn by the Old City and the approach from the boulevard.
Consider: Verify the present grandstand position; older venue maps may show a different entry route.
A different urban backdrop or a lower-cost way into the event site.
Consider: Check exact race visibility and concert rights; fan-zone access is not a reserved racing seat.
The circuit advertises premium grandstands and hospitality, while F1 also lists Baku products. Compare the viewing balcony, included meals and event-day concert rights.
Premium main-straight base for grid and pit views.
Consider: Confirm whether any pit walk is scheduled and whether concert access is included.
A fixed race seat without assuming a catered lounge.
Consider: Package rights differ by stand and year; price the current 2027 product.
The circuit closes central streets to normal traffic and changes pedestrian crossings. Use the metro and walk to your assigned gate from the accessible side of the track.
Travel to a central station serving the appropriate grandstand side.
Consider: Confirm 2027 station opening and temporary pedestrian bridges; a straight-line walk may be blocked.
A hotel around the Old City or waterfront can reduce vehicle transfers.
Consider: Gate access and closure lines may turn a short map distance into a longer walk.
Useful for an airport arrival or more distant hotel.
Consider: Agree an accessible drop-off outside the circuit road restrictions.
City-centre roads close for the event, and the circuit’s traffic notices prohibit stopping in key crossing windows. Do not plan to park next to a grandstand; confirm 2027 road restrictions and use a legal lot outside the perimeter if driving.
Central accommodation saves the most transport time, provided the hotel is on the right side of the closed streets for your seat.
Close to fan zones and main-straight sections.
Consider: A race-facing room is a separate premium and may still be far from your gate.
Historic streets and restaurants near the uphill city section.
Consider: Check road closures and pedestrian route to the exact grandstand.
Wider choice and potential value.
Consider: Add the full return journey and station-to-gate walk.
Quote in the currency shown by the current ticket seller; previous-season dollar figures should not masquerade as 2027 offers.
Supplier prices and event transport can change. Any previous-season figure is labelled with its year; check the final cart before paying.
The official fan zone has food and activity areas; check the current 2027 map for their position relative to your stand.
The Old City and Fountain Square are useful dinner areas if reachable on your side of the closure; the Boulevard is convenient to seafront stands. Confirm restaurant access and late hours.

Stay inside or near the circuit perimeter: the Flame Towers area, the Boulevard and the Old City put you in the middle of everything. Baku hotels are excellent value by Grand Prix standards — even race weekend rates undercut most European rounds — but the inner-zone hotels with circuit views sell out first and command premiums.

The circuit loops around Baku’s city centre, so the race comes to you: most central hotels are walking distance from the gates. Heydar Aliyev International Airport is 25 km east, with express buses and cheap taxis to the centre. The Boulevard along the Caspian is the main pedestrian spine between zones — allow time, as street circuits involve long walks around closed roads.
