For the full Grand Prix experience at the Monaco Grand Prix, the pick is Grandstand B — Cars threading past the Casino de Monte-Carlo — the most iconic backdrop in motorsport. For on-track action, head to Grandstands K, L & O. The budget option is Rocher (General Admission) (Approx. €250 (3-day, recent seasons)). The Monaco Grand Prix runs 3–6 June 2027 at Circuit de Monaco, Monte Carlo — Round 8 of the 2027 Formula 1 season and a Sprint weekend.

A Sprint Saturday means more racing for your money — three competitive sessions across the weekend.
Full detailThe one every fan wants to tick off. The 2027 Monaco Grand Prix makes history twice over: the Automobile Club de Monaco has confirmed the first-ever Sprint weekend in the Principality, and a four-day format running 3–6 June. Casino Square, the tunnel, the harbour — nothing else in sport looks like this.
At 3.337 km, Monte Carlo is the shortest and slowest circuit in Formula 1 — and the most demanding. Barriers line every metre from Sainte Dévote up to Casino Square, down through the tunnel to the harbour chicane, the Swimming Pool and La Rascasse. Overtaking is scarce, which makes qualifying on Saturday afternoon the most important session of the weekend and track position everything on Sunday.
We'll add a verified map for the Monaco Grand Prix when it becomes available. Grandstand and entrance locations may change for 2027.

Using the most recent official reseller price lists as the guide: 3-day general admission on the Rocher hillside ran about €250, and Sunday grandstand tickets ranged from roughly £239 (X1/X2 on the main straight) through £415–465 (K, L, O, T) to £665 for the top B Gold seats at Casino Square, with single-day Friday tickets far cheaper. 2027 prices are set by the ACM — treat all figures as guides.

Monaco is a temporary street venue: the grandstand you choose determines both your view and which closed streets you need to navigate. Qualifying matters particularly here because passing is difficult.
A reserved view of cars passing the Casino.
Consider: Prestige pricing and a short view of each lap; confirm the precise row and access route.
The yachts and Swimming Pool section make this the classic Monaco spectator setting.
Consider: These stands have different angles; check whether your actual block faces Tabac, the chicane or the harbour.
T overlooks the pit lane; Rocher is an elevated standing-area option.
Consider: Rocher is steep and crowded, with no reserved seat. T has a very different view from the harbour stands.
Compare the actual track view and included food against a reserved grandstand. Monaco terraces and yachts are location-specific; neither implies paddock access.
The Automobile Club’s panoramic hospitality above grandstand L.
Consider: Check its 2027 availability, access days and catering rather than assuming a past package carries forward.
F1 describes pit-building and yacht hospitality as different viewing experiences.
Consider: Confirm the exact suite or yacht position and whether a grandstand seat or transfer is included.
The Monaco-Monte-Carlo station is close to the circuit, with regular Côte d’Azur rail links. A train from Nice avoids the street closures, but the last walk to each stand differs.
Stay on the Riviera and arrive at Monaco-Monte-Carlo station; F1 quotes about 20 minutes from Nice.
Consider: Budget for crowded platforms and the return train after the event.
A cross-border hotel can put you above the circuit without a daily train.
Consider: Monaco is steep and route closures can make a nearby property a longer walk.
Only consider this after checking the 2027 closures and parking reservation.
Consider: Many public streets and garages have restrictions during the Grand Prix.
Grand Prix road closures and restricted garages make rail the simpler default. ACM notes that public parking and streets can be reserved for residents; verify a 2027 garage reservation and its access window before driving.
Choose a base by the rail journey and evening plans, not a straight-line distance from the circuit.
Closest to the streets and hospitality terraces.
Consider: Small supply and premium race-weekend prices; check the uphill route to the hotel.
Broad hotel and restaurant choice on the direct train corridor.
Consider: Crowded late trains and a walk from Monaco station to your stand.
Smaller coastal alternatives along the rail line or border.
Consider: Check the last return service and walking route from the exact property.
Monaco can be a day trip from Nice or a high-cost local stay. Compare like-for-like dates and ticket days; a terrace price cannot be compared with an admission-only grandstand.
Supplier prices and event transport can change. Any previous-season figure is labelled with its year; check the final cart before paying.
Look for concessions near your stand and check the current venue map; terrace catering depends on the particular package.
La Condamine and the port have dining near the circuit, but race-night demand is high. If staying in Nice or Menton, a reservation near your return station avoids a rushed meal before the train.

Nice is the default base — 20 minutes by train, hundreds of hotels, and a fraction of Monaco prices. Beausoleil and Cap-d’Ail, immediately across the border, are closer but limited. Staying in Monaco itself is the dream and priced like it: race-weekend rates are the highest of any Grand Prix on the calendar, so book a year out or stay in Nice.

Most visitors base in Nice and take the train: the TER from Nice-Ville to Monaco-Monte-Carlo takes about 22 minutes and runs every 15–30 minutes, with extra services on race weekend. Driving into the Principality is strongly discouraged — roads close and parking is essentially unavailable. Helicopter transfers from Nice Airport exist for the full Monaco experience.
