About the British Grand Prix

The home of Formula 1. Silverstone hosted the very first world championship race in 1950, and the 2027 British Grand Prix runs 1–4 July as a four-day festival — Sprint weekend, an opening concert headlined by Robbie Williams, and the biggest, loudest crowd of the European season.

The 5.891 km former airfield is one of the fastest circuits in F1: Copse, Maggotts, Becketts and Chapel form a high-speed sequence drivers describe as the best corner combination in the sport, and the Hangar Straight into Stowe remains the classic overtaking move. The new-look final sector around Club corner and the Wing pit complex puts the finish in front of huge grandstands.
